  • Bug Bug and/or dangerous typewriter "feature": resize holding box trims text.

Hi First of all, Foxit reader is great!

But I have seen that the typewriter tool allow to resize the box where text is placed, you even get handlers to do that:

Size:	2.2 KB
ID:	190251
And that is all fine, however the issue is that when moving the comment, it happens *sometimes* not that often that the dimensions of the box gets slightly reduced (maybe due to rounding, floating point precision, aligning dimension/position to an internal grid?, or other totally different reason...) the effect is that now not all of the text is shown!!

This is very annoying and could be potentially dangerous as to misrepresent information that initially appeared correct but is modified (at least what is visible) when the comment is moved.

I haven't been able to identify exactly when this happens or how to reproduce this issue....

I will be looking for a file when this happened, so I can upload it, but if this could be shared with developers maybe they can keep it in sight too.

    Thanks

LuisHoyos,Sorry to bother you here again abruptly. The clerk from our QA team previously said that the problem could be repeated occasionally on his computer, unfortunately now the problem could not be reproduced again anymore on his device at present. And other QA team members also indeed have attempted to reproduce this issue, but failed eventually.
So we still need your assistance to provide us with a video to show us the whole process of how to reproduce the problem on your side. You may use the LiceCap tool to generate an animated gif that shows the whole procedures of ths issue:
          Here's the download link:

(Unzip it, then double-click on licecap file, you can then specify the recording area then hit "Record", it requires naming the file first then start recording.)

And please help to check the font type and font size that you have set for the typewriter tool in the format panel on the right side of your program, and whether any other particular operations were performed before and after moving the annotation.

          Look forward to your reply.
