Feedback Foxit for Linux is incredibly disapointing.

First of all, it is impossible to change the color of the typewriter tool to black. There's only 8 different colors available and none of them is either black or white. Incredible.

I updated my software thinking this would solve the problem. It didn't. Instead it introduced a bug where non English characters get displayed wrong and if you save the document, it saves it with the wrong characters, For example this character: ó would be displayed and then saved to lets say this one: ¥. Terrible, any document you open and save gets messed up.

I decided to uninstall but even that goes wrong. I get an error when running the uninstaller. This is a terrible product.

However,it must be mentioned that the new version of Foxit Reader for Linux v2.4.5 which was released this month is actually just a security release version that only fixes some security vulnerabilities, without any new features or feature improvements at all.So Foxit Reader Linux is still essentially an old product and our Dev team have stopped implementing any new features for it. For these issues that you referred, I already submitted them to our QA and Dev team, they will process these issues you mentioned when they develop any new substitute version of Foxit PDF Reader to prevent the same things from happening again in the future version.
