auto hide occurs when opening a document

I am using version version 6.1.2.1224 in windows 7. When I open Foxit Reader I see the status bar and under the View settings "Show Status Bar" is selected. Under the File/Preferences/Full Screen settings "Show Status Bar" is also selected. My problem is when I double click a .pdf file to open the file, the status bar is now in auto hide mode even though the two settings are still showing "Show Status Bar". Whats wrong?

Hi Asa,

Please open Foxit Reader->go under "File"->"Preferences"->"Documents"->to check if your "In Foxit Reader, please choose the mode for displaying" is set "Normal".
