  • Resolution of scanned image in PDF

Is there functionality in Foxit Reader to determine the resultion (DPI) of the original scanned image (when present)? This may be a complicated question. I know that each image in a PDF that contains scanned images may have been scanned at a different resolution. I also know that the orginal DPI is somehwat irrelevant in a PDF. Nonetheless, when I get a low-resolution image in a PDF I would like to be able to say, for example, "You scanned this at 150 DPI. Please rescan at 300 DPI." Possible?

    Hi GaloobJamin,

Currently the "determine the resolution (DPI) of scanned image" is not available in Foxit Reader. I've forwarded your comments as suggestion to Reader PM team for processing. Suggestion ID#: READER-1978.
