  • Bug Moving through search results with keyboard

    Hello,

    I have been using Foxit Reader for several years and recently I installed it on a Windows 7 PC. I don't know if it is the new version of Foxit Reader or Windows 7 but when I do an advanced search (using full-search) I cannot select and show search results with the keyboard, only clicking on each result would show the specific part of the document in the document pane. In previous versions I could navigate through search results with the keyboard (arrow keys) which was very useful.

    Is there a solution for this?

    Thank you.

    Fernando.

    Hi Fernando,

    Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause for you. The arrow keys don't work when trying to switch between the searching results in Foxit Reader 5.*, but previous version did work. I've reported this issue to our internal bug tracking system for Reader team's further investigation. Report ID#: 34985. If you'd like to get an update of the problem's status, you can write to [email protected] with this ID# to track.

      @Fernando,

      FYI. Just got the update from Reader Testing team, the mentioned "moving through search results with keyboard" issue has been fixed in our internal version. That's to say, the next release after version 5.1.4 will no longer have this problem.
