Deeply sorry for my mistake. Please open your Reader->go to 'Tools'->'Preferences'->'Documents'-> to check what is your current setting mode for displaying PDF file. If it is set 'Full Screen Mode'/Read Mode, please set it back to 'None'.

Not "Safe Read Mode". I'm talking about "Read Mode", the mode where all the tool icons are invisible, the mode you switch with the double arrow icon in the top right of the window.

Every time I open a new PDF, it hides all the tools for every PDF I have open. basically, every time I change tabs I have to click that little double arrow icon again. I'm learning to hate the icon.

I should add that other than that, FoxIt is a great product. It craps all over Adobe reader (something that gets easier with every release from Adobe).

started a topic Feature Can read mode be turned off by default?

Can read mode be turned off by default?

It is so annoying having to turn read mode off every time I open a new document. Is there a way to default to not use read mode?

I can't see any setting in the preferences list.
Working...
