  • FAQ Linux 64bit: foxitreader can't switch inpurt method on

    Hello, everyone, I'm new here

In foxitreader, I can't switch input method on.

I'm running Linux on my laptop, and installed fcitx as the input method to input chinese. In "~/.xinitrc", the variable QT_IM_MODULE=fcitx, GTK_IM_MODULE=fcitx, XMODIFIERS="im=fcitx". But I can't switch the input method on foxitreader. It works well on other pro grammes. I have demander the developper of fcitx, He doesn't have this problem.
So what should I do to fix it?
    Thank you in advance
    Desktop: xfce4
    kernel: 3.2.12-gentoo

We do not provide Reader for Linux 64bit, but you can install Linux Reader on 64-bit CPU with installation of ia32-lib on Ubuntu. Aslo unfortunately, due to human resources, we have stopped maintaining Reader for Linux. But we are developing windows-less frame Reader that can run across platforms. That will be a substitute version of current one.

    Thanks for your support!
