Hello - I am new to this thread but looking for better visibility on highlighted searched text, same as everyone. When is version 8.0 expected? Any reasonably stable trial version?

hi guys, first of all great work!
I changed to foxit reader due to it capability to search for text in multiple files inside a folder and its overall performance and options! ...BUT this feature (search highlight color) is missing and for those who work with complex pdfs (i.e. electronics schematics) it is VERY important. So please consider it even if it belongs to the advanced user category. Finally I'd like to add a suggestion to add an option for the search highlight to BLINK in the chosen color.
keep it up

The thing is that even being able to change the highlight color of the search makes finding the results difficult in a schematic. Other PDF readers draw a box around the search result so as to make it stand out better on the page. Even with this change I still find I revert to another PDF reader to this day when searching schematics.Comment

Sorry but I ditched Foxit Reader after discovering it was continually attempting to do out bound connections via port 443. It was Connected PDF Service and disabling Connected PDF and restarting FoxIt did not curtail the outbound connection. The stupid service was still running in the Process List in Windows. Even checking the disabling "All items requiring Internet access " did not help. Only after killing off the process for ConnectedPDF did the outbound connection attempts cease. Was using Foxit Reader 9.x but have uninstalled it and deleted all traces of it from my system.
