  • Feature Embedded Foxit Reader in Google Chrome

    Greetings,

I want to integrate Foxit Reader with Google Chrome but I am unable to do so. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, I have Chrome version 18.0.1025.162 and Foxit Reader version 5.1.4.0104. I used to have them work together smoothly before a reinstallation process and possible updates. Now Chrome uses its own PDF browser and asks everytime if I would like to install Adobe Reader. My question is how to introduce Foxit Reader as a plugin for Chrome. I would be grateful for any suggestions.

Please make sure you have checked "firefox plugin" to install the firefox plugin during installation process, if not, please reinstall it by checking this item.
Finally, run chrome->about->plugins->disable plugins of other pdf reader(for
example, adobe reader plugin or chrome its own plugin ).

Thanks for the replies. I have checked that option during installation and also tried reinstalling it but it did not work. In addition to that I cannot see Chrome's own pdf reader when I look at the extensions.

I have solved the problems by disabling "Chrome PDF Viewer" in the plugins windows accessible by typing aboutlugins into the address bar.
