Please browse to the installation folder (by default it is: "C:\Program Files\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader\Shell Extensions"), rename FoxitPrevHndlr.dll file as Foxit PrevHndlr.dll2 and see if it would still crash. Thank you.

1: It happens with different PDF files
2: We work with hundreds of PDF files every day. When we try to upload them into our website, we need to browse to the right PDF. We select the file and then try to upload it. Then the error as shown earlier appears.
3: I can't see / find any crashlog.txt or crash.dmp. The software is installed in the X86 folder.

Thanks for the update. Please help provide the following info for further investigation:
1) Did it occur to any PDF document or specific one?
2) How to replicate the issue? Can it be replicated every time you perform the same?
3) Please send the crashlog.txt and crash.dmp file that located in the installation folder of Foxit Reader. (By default it is: "C:\Program Files\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader")

I updated the software to the english version 6.2.3.0815 but the problem / crash is still happening.
We like the Foxit reader because it has many advantages above Adobe reader but this crash is really annoying.

I hope you or someone else can help me to fix this problem.

You may install the English version then switch to Dutch by going under "File"->"Preferences"->"Language" if you'd like.

Thank you for your response. I'm using version 6.1.3. Can I update it to version 6.1.5? This is the latest Dutch version that I can download from the website.
Or should/must I really get the englisch version 6.2.1?

I will check / sign up for the Enterprise version. I will be on holiday for a week from tomorrow so my respond will be a little late.

Hello all,

I use Foxit reader version 6.1.3.0321 on a terminal server that is running on a Windows server 2012 (64-bit).
I do get many crashes about foxitprevhndlr.dll.

I added an attachment.

Does anyone know what this problem is and more important how to fix this?
