    Hi Nevyoung,

I've forwarded your feedback about "Lose the add-ins in the office programs after Foxit updates" to Reader PM team for processing. Feedback ID#: PMWQ-944.
Regarding the " I did not receive an email re response even though I have made sure that notifications is in my profile is ticked. However, When I want to SAVE the settings there, there is some communication but there is no confirmation that the SAVE has been done." Could you pleas make a screenshot that shows what you meant? Thank you.

Another thing - I did not receive an email re response even though I have made sure that notifications is in my profile is ticked. However, When I want to SAVE the settings there, there is some communication but there is no confirmation that the SAVE has been done. I simply stay on that page and can continue clicking the SAVE button

Thanks for the response. What you prescribe me to do is rather a pain for each time Foxit automatically updates. I have just downloaded and installed the latest version, and notice in the settings that the option to put add-ins into the office programs is NOT selected. I had to select the options during install. I am expecting that the next time Foxit updates, I will lose those settings again. Surely this is not good?

    Hi nevyoung,

Thanks for your feedback. Please try as following to retrieve Foxit PDF add-in for word application(Taking 32bits OS as an example):
Open one word document>go to "Word options" >click"Add-Ins"tab,please choose"Com Add-ins" in the "manage"drop-down list>click"Go..."option to open
"COM Add-Ins" window>click"Add..."to open Add Add-In window box, please navigate to the following folder:
    C:\Program Files\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader\plugins\Creator\x86

then please choose"FPC_WordAddin_X86.dll" file in the x86 folder>click"ok""ok" to add this add-in.

    PDF Creator in Office Ribbon

Hi - Very frustrating is that every time Foxit updates, I lose the PDF creator item on the office ribbon in Word and Excel. It always takes time to find out how to get it back, but this time I cannot remember how I did it previously. I will have to disable the updater to prevent this necessity to put it back in the menu each time. How do I get it back. I have tried the add-ins but Foxit is not listed there.
Working...
