    Feedback Why i'll stop using Foxit Reader

    In the beginning there was only Acrobat Reader. Hundreds of MB to install, slow to start
    Then Foxit Reader appeared: an 1.5MB tool that could start in no time and render pdf perfectly.
    pure joy

    Today Foxit Reader is becoming more and more like Acrobat Reader

    I just want a small and fast tool that reads pdf. Nothing more.
    I don't want your cloud, create a pdf, sign it, share it, read it loud. Just showme the f** pdf, quickly.
    I'm not saying to throw all those functionalities away. But give me the opportunity to download 'Foxit Reader Light' too

    I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants this, and ignoring it you are gonna loose some of your users

    I understand behind FR there are develeopers and engeeners who work hard and this mail wont please them. but please consider it just as honest feedback.

      I really like a lot the new ribbon interface. so my hopes are that some day in the future there will be a 'light' foxit version, that just reads, but with the modern UI of the current version
      in the meantime, sumatra will do

          Has this issue of the slow initializing of the program been solved? I, too, am tired of the wait for the program to open!

            Uncheck 'show start page' and 'show ads' options may speed it up, may I know which version of Foxit Reader do you use?

              8.0.0.624 is the version I'm running. And NOW I have no pdf printer anymore!!! GRRRRR!!!!

                Version 8.0.0.624. I did uncheck those 2 boxes and it did speed up but after that my pdf printer is GONE! Grrrrr! Plus I tried to post this and got an error. So trying once again.

                  Please try to perform a re-installation of Foxit Reader and make sure you checked "Foxit PDF Reader Printer" and see if it works fine. Thank you.
