The browser plugin is a bit slow !!

When viewing a PDF from an URL, if it is opened in Foxit Reader that will be a bit quicker than being opened in browser, such as IE or Firefox, through browser plugin. Wonder if it's possible to tune up the browser plugin ??

The rendering of PDF document from within browser also has something to do with the internet connection. Could you please kindly send us the url for us performing a test? How long does it take on your side when viewing from independent Reader and within browser? What about the comparison when opening from within IE and Firefox?

I mean the comparison is when opening the same document from a website between viewing inside browser with Foxit plugin and outside browser with Foxit Reader

Currently there's no way to tune up the browser plugin.

BTW, The plugin is embedded to the main program to open the PDF document, there will be a new process opened when viewing inside browser with Foxit plugin.
If the main program (Foxit Reader) been opened already, when you click on the PDF url, it is just the same as opening a new PDF document in Foxit Reader program, there's no need to launch a new process, that's why the viewing outside browser with Foxit Reader is a little quicker.

How about to disable all tool bar displayed arround Foxit plugin. Will it improve the display speed of pdf content?
