For your current workaround, you may use the "Area Highlight" feature under "Comment" menu to highlight the text instead. Thank you.

If I use underline or highlight, the line or the color only cover words instead of whole line. It looks uncomfortable. If you agree with me, please response this and help developer to reset it back to old version for this function.
