    Hi aclhelpdesk,

    1) Regarding the "Not a PDF or corrupted" problem, please try to re-install Foxit Reader and make sure that you've ticked "Shell Extensions" and "Windows Shell Extensions for converting PDF or combining supported files" during the re-installation and see if it helps. Meanwhile, I've reported this issue to Foxit internal bug tracking system for further investigation. Report ID#: 61189.
    2) For "Microsoft Outlook has stopped working" issue, I've reported it to internal bug tracking system as well. Report ID#: 61208.
    3) I'll forward your comments about online support ticket system to our Web team. You may also email to [email protected] if you have any questions or suggestion. Thank you.

I see something else is having the same problem. He also has Windows 8.1

Please note that there are no crashlog.txt or crash.dmp file in the installation folder or under C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Foxit Reader'
There is a sendcrashreport.exe and when I run it says: This program is used to send the crash report. It need to work with the Main Application. Without this program, the crash report will not be sent"

  • Foxit Reader PDF Printer is broken ufter update to v.

I have updated 56 computers yesterday to v. from 621.0618 and this morning the users are flooding me with complaints. I can reproduce the problem on all of our computers.
Problem #1. When I try to print from internet explorer (V.11) it creates the pdf file but when I open it I have the error message "Format Error: Not a PDF or corrupted" No matter what I want to print from Internet Explorer this happens. If I print to other printers they print fine.
Problem #2. When I try to print an email from outlook and select Foxit Reader PDF Printer from the drop down list it immediately gives me the "Microsoft Outlook has stopped working" I don't have this problem if I select any other printer. (please see attached screenshot)
I can print a test page with Foxit Reader PDF Printer.
Our computers are: Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit
Office: Office 2013 32 bit and 64 bit mixed.
    Please advise ASAP.
