    FYI. I was having trouble with Firefox also, but Cherry's steps worked for me. Took several attempts but finally took.
    I was checking in Firefox Add-ons/plugins and Foxit was not there.
    I quit Firefox, then followed the steps exactly and it now shows up.

    In case anyone is still having the blank page issue in Firefox...for me it was fixed in the latest version. After installation I had to go through the checkbox dance in post #5 above, but now the plugin works again.

    Hi nobody291,

    Please try to uninstall your existing Foxit Reader then download a new setup package to re-install and make sure that you've ticked "Foxit Reader for Firefox Plugin" during the installation. If it still doesn't work for you, please email to [email protected] and we'll send you a new dll file so you could replace it and see if it helps.

    I'm not Ken, but I do have the same problem. I've tried the un-associate/re-associate steps a few times and I still have the "blank page" problem.

    1) Which version of Foxit Reader you're having?
    7.0.3.916

    2) Version info of your IE/Firefox? Neither browser works for you?
    Firefox 33.1 / IE 10.0.9200.17148

    Both have the same problem and just display a blank page.

    3) What about the result if you right-click on IE/Firefox then "Run as administrator" then try to open the PDF document?
    That didn't help in my case.

    4) Did it occur to any PDF document that you try to open from within browser?
    I've tried several PDFs and each time just get a blank page after the download progress bar disappears. Please let me know if there's more troubleshooting steps that would help.

    @Ken,
    Please try to un-associate and re-associate the "Display PDF in Browser" as following and see if it helps:
    1) Please open Foxit Reader, then go under "File"->"Preferences"->"File Associations"->"Advanced", uncheck "Include browser when setting default PDF viewer" then click on "OK".
    2) Under "File Associations", please click on "Restore File Associations";
    3) Again, please go under "File"->"Preferences"->"File Associations"->"Advanced", check "Include browser when setting default PDF viewer"->"OK" then click on "Make Default PDF Viewer" as default PDF Reader.

    I have a solution to get this working. It is to completely uninstall FoxIt and re-install 6.x

    Having the same issue with Windows 7, IE & Mozilla. I see the download progress bar but the PDF never displays. I just see a blank, white page. I have also tried the above fix with no luck. I love Foxit - but the only way I can view the pdf is to download it to my PC and then open it. I don't want all those docs on my PC. I would also appreciate any assistance

    @cherry,

    Also verified:

    Foxit Reader Plugin for Mozilla 2.2.4.903 is enabled
    File npFoxitReaderPlugin.dll resides in C:\Program Files\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader\plugins
    Firefox Tools > Options > Applications ... shows Use Foxit Reader Plugin for Mozilla for Portable Document Format (PDF)
    Foxit Reader is the default
    No other PDF readers are installed

    Thanks!

    Hi Cherry,

    I had the same problem with Foxit Reader Plugin 7.0.3.916 and Firefox 33. They were both updated on the same day so I wasn't sure where the problem lay. This worked fine, so many thanks!
