  • Menu bar-Tool-Customize Toolbars

Recently had an update notice while running Foxit Reader, so did the deed, but not a happy user anymore... For a couple of reasons, but I'll stick with the thread title one for the moment.

Previous version was a couple of versions back.
New version is 5.1.4.0104 So where is The Menu bar - Tools?
It seems to have vanished, along with the Customize toolbars menu option.

Can someone please inform me where this can now be found?

    Thanks
    Ax

    FWIW. Running on Win 7

Despite the interjection by the multiple personality Ronald, or Richard Head, I have found the solution.

"Use Tabbed toolbar mode after restarting" became ticked when I was changing the Style, now correctly unticked and I have the Menubar Tools back.

Not that I would *ever* use that mode as it smells too much of the new MS wonder Ribbon tool bars in their Office products... I hate that Ribbon tool bar so much I've stopped using recent Word and gone back to a Pre Ribbon version.

      Hi Arturox,

Thanks for your update. I'll forward your feedback about the tabbed toolbar to PM team for their references.

Hi Cherry, just to make it clear.
It wasn't the fault of the application, as the default state is unticked, but I'd accidentally turned it on without being aware I'd done it.
