  • zoom options

Hi and thanks for this great program!
The only reason I still use other readers from time to time is following:
When looking at bigger drawings, it is very convienient to use the mousewheel for zooming in and out.
I was not able to find this option in the settings. Did I miss it, or could you try to include this feature in future versions?
    Thanks! piet

    Hi Piet,

Are you running the latest version V5.1.4? If so ,you can hold down the CTRL key and use the mousewheel for zooming in and out.

    Regards

I have 8 PDF documents open simultaneously, and find that 50% zoom allows 4 docs side-by-side across top and 4 docs side-by-side across bottom of screen
with the documents readable, but just barely, so I want to dive into details as I jump around between the docs making comparisons
It is irritating that the access to a precise and specific zoom level is buried so deeply in the menu system
      View -> Zoom -> Zoom to -> 50%

Why can't the "Zoom to" be placed on a tool bar, like in Adobe PDF viewer
This is about the ONLY feature where Adobe PDF viewer is BETTER than Foxit Reader

Perhaps it is because most windows users actually only use only a single window at a time

Yes, most users only use a single window at a time .Anyway, i will forward your feedback to our related team for their references.for now, you can go to View -> Zoom -> Zoom to to input the percent you need.

Hello Richell. This is my first post, but I have another request for zooming options. I, like piet, am opening large drawings constantly and I love the Ctrl + Mouse Scoll zooming feature. However, I would like the ability to move the anchor point corner where the scroll zooms in from. For example, I have two screens. When I Ctrl + Mouse Scroll zoom on my Right screen, the anchor point is the bottom right corner. On my Left screen, the anchor point is the top left corner.

One other thought about this is instead of having a zoom anchor point in a corner, you could have the zoom anchor around the current location of the mouse pointer (like in CAD software).

Just my two cents. You guys rock. I love Foxit!!!

Another good feature would be to have a button for "Fixed width" or "Fix to page".

                  Great product people.

Why not make the tool bars customisable? That way users can customise the layout, and have the tools they most use, where they want them.

Off topic but puzzling... why do updates install even if they are cancelled? I just got used to the layout and now everything's changed
