  • Dynamic Stamp Date Format Change

When I use the default dynamic stamps, the date is formatted d/m/y. That may be OK in other parts of the world, but in US can get confusing. For example, December 11, 2014, foxit date stamp shows 11/12/2014 to us in the US that is November 12, 2014.

I cannot find a way to change the date format....any help?

    Hi Patriot,

Currently Foxit Reader doesn't support to change the Date Format in Dynamic Stamp. I've forwarded your comments as suggestion to PM team for processing. Suggestion ID#: PHANTOM-1256.

I was wondering if this suggestion has been looked at yet. It would be so much nicer to have a common stamp throughout the company than having everyone create their own...

          Dear Erika,

Since version 7.3 of Foxit PhantomPDF/Foxit Reader,if you create custom dynamic stamps in Foxit PhantomPDF/Foxit Reader, the date format for the customized dynamic stamps is the samje to your system's date format.
So you just need to customize your system's date format to the one you like, then it will be applied to stamp in Foxit Software.
Note:You to make the option"Enable JavaScript Actions"selected under"Trust Manager"tab in "Preferences"dialog box before you create customized dynamic stamps.Otherwise, the newly selected date format in your system won't be applied to customized dynamic stamps.

For those default dynamic stamps which are provided by Foxit PhantomPDF itself, their date is formatted d/m/y and there is no way for us to change its default date format.
For this situation,I have submitted the suggestion"Change date format for those default dynamic stamps which are provided by Foxit PhantomPDF itself"as a new feature to our internal feature system with suggestion ID#PHANTOM-6468,so that it may be considered in future versions.
