  • Drawings not printed with another reader

    Hi all,
Foxit is a great software. I have also the paid version on Android.
This is my problem: I usually mark pdf files with annotations and drawings. Recently I gave a modified pdf to a friend of mine. He uses Adobe Reader. When he reads the file, he sees correctly the drawings, but if he physically prints the file, then the drawings are not present anymore on the page! Can you help me?

    Thank you!!

Did you make the annotations and drawings with Foxit Reader for Windows or Android?
Then please make sure your friend select "document and markups" under "print what" shown on the adobe print dialog box.

      For Windows.
Maybe the selection of "document and markups" is the solution. I will try!
But, Is there a way to create a pdf in which markups are "indelible", i.e., irreversibly embedded in the pdf?

      Thanks!

        Hi igmar,

You may try with Foxit PhantomPDF program. It's free to try out for 30 days. You may download it from Foxit website: http://www.foxitsoftware.com/downloads/

After you install it, you may go under "Protect" and add Document restriction to the PDF document so it can not be modified.
