Firefox will not open Foxit Reader

I am using Foxit Reader 7.0.6.1126 and Firefox 34.0
Until about two weeks ago, when I clicked a PDF file in Firefox, I got a question if to open Foxit Reader or to download the file. Now the file is downloaded, whatever I do and no questioin. I have trien different options in Firefox, e. g. "Always ask", but nothing helps. The file is always only downloaded. What more can I do to get back the question about opening the Foxit Reader?

Hi sijon,
Please open Foxit Reader, then go under "File"->"Preferences"->"File Associations"->"Advanced", uncheck "Include browser when setting default PDF viewer" then click on "OK" and see if it helps. Thank you.
