Bug Silent install of chrome toolbar on auto update

Hello,

Long time user of foxit reader, but after your silent install of the ask.com chrome toolbar on the recent auto-update, I have now uninstalled foxit reader and will no longer use it or recommend to my company or anyone else to use or buy it. Dodgy, lame ass tactic foxit!

Chrome opens up PDF files from the O/S just fine, takes a few seconds to configure, and although not as featured as foxit, Chrome is already loaded so it is faster anyway.

We highly apologize for this trouble and hassle. This is a mistake in our server side settings. We have disabled the ask toolbar auto installing as soon as we were aware of it. But so sorry it turns out it's too late.

Please take a moment to uninstall the Ask toolbar with the instructions as following. Again ,sorry for this inconvenience and Foxit appreciate your support.

Along with Chrome, I just noticed that IE (not my default browser) was also modified; both the default search provider and default start page were changed.

The PDF viewer in Chrome has been working well for me for the last month, so I won't be going back to foxit.

the software has completely disappointed me either you update it or i am going to uninstall foxit reader and chrome can play a better role as a replacement of the foxit reader. it will be great if you could update it, as i am long time user of the foxit reader so i would like to use this for more time otherwise i have no option other than replacing it.
