Hello everybody,

I have just formatted my old laptop (8 years old, Windows vista) and reinstalled all software.

However, I have got major problems with installing the Foxit Reader Version 7.0.8 (German). Whenever I click on the exe file, nothing happens. There is no error message or anything else. The system simply does not react. The same is true for other PDF software such as the PDF XChange Viewer or the PDF24 Creator (always newest versions compatible with Vista). Thus, I thought that I am lacking any required environment (e.g. the NET framework, but also this installation did not help).

Have you maybe any idea what I could do? Any hint would be highly appreciate.
