  • FAQ Block Context-Menu

    Hello everyone,

in my actual Project we have the Foxit-Reader pluged in our software to show pdf files.
It is a tool for Datamangement, when you want to open a pdf-file the Foxit Reader appears in a frame in my program.
It appears in the "Fullscreen-Mode" and there is for example no possibility to exit this Mode.
It is my task now to block the context menu (nothing should happen when I click the right button on my mouse) for security reasons.
Some features like the Navigation Panel also has to be blocked.
That only Feature I want to allow my User is that he can read the pdf with Foxit in Fullscreen-Mode, not more!
I found some Tools like some Group Policy Editors but I am not sure if I reach my target with that. Has someone experience with that?
I am open and very thankful for every idea, I hope some of you guys can help me
    Kind regards,
    Felix

Foxit Reader is unable to set permissions to PDF files, while Foxit PhantomPDF can do that. The Navigation Panel can not be disabled, but you can try Foxit PhantomPDF to make the files are read only, so even your users can cick the right mouse to show context menu, the menus are greyed out.
For reading in Full Screen Mode, it can be set under File->Preferences->Documents->choose Full screen mode as the display PDF mode.
