I think Foxit Reader is brilliant, far better and more useful than Adobe Reader.

When it updates, however, the Quick Access toolbar resets. I know it only takes a smidgeon of time to refill it, but I use it on 2 desktops and a laptop. if that were fixed Foxit Reader would be even better.

The settings of Quick Access toolbar can be kept as long as you choose "no" when you are asked if remove registry data or not. I doubt you click "yes" when uninstalling it, so all your custom settings are disappeared.
