  • Bug The document is trying to connect to the site

I'm trying to open a FDF document and Foxit seems to be stuck on "The document is trying to connect to the site: http://www...". If I hit "Yes", the message box seems to close but the question immediately pops back again until I click "No" (and prevents the document from opening).

I went in my preferences and unchecked "Enable safe reading mode". Nothing changed.

I installed Acrobat Reader (ugh!) and it all went fine with it. I did ask me a confirmation to allow the document to connect and, once I did, it connected to the site and the document opened in a popup window.

Document filled and printed. Uninstalling Acrobat reader now

Ps. Not meaning that the initial issue shouldn't be fixed.

Normally, when you visit some links of PDF file, it will pop up the message "The document is trying to connect to the site: http://www...", after you click Yes, it should access the link.
May i know which version of Foxit Reader do you use?And would you mind sending us the PDF link for a closer testing? You can send it to [email protected], thank you.

I too am experiencing this issue when trying to open up a .fdf file. The version of the fdf is 1.2 and I am using Foxit Reader version 5.4.3.0920.
