Is it possible to open the same document in two tabs?

CraigS26 ,After you having checked the option 'Allow multiple instances' under File -- Preferences --Documents,please make sure to click on "OK" button to save the setting.
Then each PDF file will be opened in a stand-alone Foxit PhantomPDF window when you double click on them one by one.

Could you please add my vote lyndi_wu , to introducing a 'new tab' feature? ?

1. I cannot seem to right click on recent documents.
2. To open a new document, I need to go to file in folder.
3. Adobe Acrobat currently offers the split tab, and it's much simpler.

For open a copy, you may go to File->Recent Documents, then right-click on the name of the file and choose "Open a copy". I've included a screenshot as attachment. Please check it and see if it helps. Thank you.

Is this a Phantom feature, or just Foxit PDF editor?

Just registered to support this. Editing the same document in two tab or two windows is a killer feature. Nobody wants to jump back and forth like a clown.

yyang, Thanks for your post. We've received similar feature requests from some other users as well. Currently the feature of "edit the same document in two windows at the same time synergistically" isn't supported in the Foxit PDF Editor and Foxit PDF Reader yet. However, we have already recorded this request to our intenal features tracking system with report ID#PHANTOM-4088,so that our product management will evaluate it during planning for the future releases.
