Bug Problem loading reader

Have tried to install reader in XP twice now (had it on this unit before, but went haywire recently - deleted, and downloaded latest version). Both installs went well, however I receive following message when I try to open the program.

Unable to execute file:
C:\Program Files\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader\Foxit Reader.EXE

CreateProcess Failed; code 740.
The requested operation requires elevation.

Is this the conflict with AVG that I've seen in these forums?

No, this problem is not AVG related. You can check security bulletins here: http://www.foxitsoftware.com/Secure_..._bulletins.php
For 'code 740' error, please download a new installer of Foxit Reader installer from our website and save it to your local disk rather than simply do a RUN while online. Then right-click on the setup file and choose 'Run as Administrator' to install. Please let us know if this helps. Thank you.

You need to turn uac off or run as administrator .

Go to control panel then user accounts then user account settings
