  • Bug menu bar disappears when opening some pdf files??

When opening pdf files (some do it, some don't), the menu bar where "File, tools, edit" and selection icons disappear?
Any way to prevent it from disappearing when opening some pdf files?

It's mostly files from an e-textbook from school that I saved to my computer for easier reading instead of using the "in browser" book.

    Thank you

If this happen on some particular files, I suspect it was caused by the document settings. Please provide me a file sample for taking a closer look.

sure, here's one from my math course.
Forum won't let me upload any files. Here's the one I managed to upload at my site.

I replied with a file link on the 9th, but it says it needs reviewing?

          Algebra File

Edit: Oh it let me link to it today.

Update on info: The files (School textbook files) that are making the Foxit menu and icons disappear are on my XP desktop that I usually do my studies at.

But on my Win7 netbook, the Foxit menu and icons don't disappear when opening the same files.

The reason why it always opens without menu bar and tool bar is that the original user interface options are set "Hide Menu bar" and "Hide tool bar".You can use our Foxit PhantomPDF to edit its original settings, we provide 30 days free trial, you may want to download it from our website and have a try.

Could you please try to disable the protected mode in the Preferences dialog of foxitreader Reader (see the screenshot below) and check if the problem persists?
