  • Feedback Printing with Command Option "/p" - use of printer settings (Fit-to-Page etc)

    Hello,

i'm using the Commandline Option "/p" for printing PDF documents with foxit reader.

the problem is: if a user is also using Foxit reader, is printing with it and changing the print-setting
leike "Scaling Type [None, Fit to printer margins, Multiple pages], Pages per sheet, etc" then this options
is used for the commandline option too.

it it possibe the set an Option via commandline to for the scaling type etc?

Thanks for your feedback, yes, this option is unavailable in current version, i have forwarded it as suggestion to our PM team for their reference, hope they will consider it and implement it in future.Your reported ID:JR952

      Hey all,

      Using 6.1.1.1031

Having this same issue printing PDF files from the cmd line - The pages are beyond the border. Are there any fixes or a way to fix this silently?

I'm thinking about printing a PDF manually using FoxIT then exporting the reg settings it creates for the printer under the HKCU hive and importing this to other users not sure if that'll work though.

This is an AD Environment so Group Policy is available and also SCCM.

      Thanks all.

        Hi dreski,

Sorry that currently command line printing doesn't support to set the scaling type. You may try the registry exporting and importing way that you mentioned and see if it helps. Thank you.
