    Hi timgould,

Actually the form is an interactive form. So we could switch to 'Hand' tool under 'Tools' menu then input directly in the form fields.

Providing user feedback to let us know how to do this would be helpful!

Perhaps when an interactive form opens it should go to the Hand tool automatically or at least inform the user to do so.

      Thank you.

Hand Tool is set as default, maybe you changed to select tool before without awareness.

I am also having an issue with an interactive form. I have been able to enter and save some of the data.
I am attempting to complete the form (downloaded) and after entering data the program crashes.
It is a simple California_lease_agreement_form. The Hand Tools is selected and I cannot see any reason for the
          crash.

          Thanks,
          Blah

Small update- I should have checked this first.

            Hi Blah,

Please provide a copy of the form and your OS info (E.g. Win7, 64-bit) so I could test it and better advise. If it is inconvenient to upload here, please email them to [email protected].

I found the reply very helpful.

I agree with timgould the method is a bit counter-intuitive - I expected I would need the text tool to write text and it never occurred to me to use the hand tool. It would be cool if the message box informing me "this the document contains interactive form fields" also said "... use the hand tool to complete the form"

              Thanks for a great program

                Hi guys,

I've forwarded your comments to Reader PM team so we may consider to add the feature "switch to Hand tool or indicate to switch to Hand tool when the form is an interactive one". Suggestion ID#: PHANTOM-3346.

Quick update for Suggestion ID#PHANTOM-3346, if everything goes well, we could see the feature implemented in version 9.2.0. Thank you.
