PDFs won't open in browser - Foxit 5.4

Hi Techman,

Please open Firefox, go to 'Tools'->'Options'->'Applications'->to check what is the corresponding 'Action' for 'PDF file'. Please change it and try again.

I just installed Foxit 5.4 on my windows 7 laptop. It also installed the Mozilla Firefox plugin as instructed.
However when I click on a link to a PDF file, the browser launches and displays the PDF file in the Foxit application on my laptop,
rather than opening the PDF in my browser.
I did select the open in preferences to "display pdf in browser"
