RMS Encryption for an already digitally signed PDF document.

Hello,

We use the ”Foxit RMS command-line Tool” for encryption PDF documents, and it works very well for simple PDF documents but with digitally signed ones this tool skips them.

Exist any possibilities to encrypt already digitally signed PDF documents with the RMS protection tool or with other tools?

If your pdf file is protected by digital signature, it is not allowed to change including do the RMS protection again, and you will find the feature greyed out.
You can open your file in Foxit PDF Editor, go to File>Properties>Security to check the document restriction.
