Installed Foxit Reader 5.3-- on Win 7 Ultimate with Panda Security.
Get message on Foxit startup and when clicking on Update: "Windows cannot find C:\Users\User\Apdata\Local\Temp\Foxit Updater.exe.
Looked for it and \Apdata\Local\Temp\Foxit Updater.exe does not exist.
Also get a mesage from Panda: Dangerous Operation Blocked.
Uninstalled and reinstalled thinking that another program uninstall might have deleted the requiered reference but problem remains.
